Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,287 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN PACU position at HCA HealthONE Swedish, 501 E Hampden Ave, Englewood, CO 80113 (3rd floor, Main General). Start date: 10/12/2026; duration: 13 weeks; 40 hours per week; night shift (8‑hour shifts). The unit is PACU/70417, with 59 total bays (Main 27, Surgical Robotics 12 – closed until early February, Orthopedic Surgery Center 20). Approximately 70 staff (RNs and patient care techs). Equipment includes GE Monitors; EMR is Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre‑operative preparation and post‑anesthesia care for all patients receiving anesthesia.
• Manage high neuro volume, stroke patients, interventional radiology cases, TAVR procedures, and critical care overflow.
• Care for surgical patients undergoing spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joint, GYN, and robotic procedures.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1 RN to 2 patients (up to 3 same‑day surgery patients at a time) per ASPAN standards.
• Float between PACU areas as needed; day shift varies with surgery schedule, night shift staffed with 2 RNs.
• Utilize GE Monitors and Meditech for documentation and monitoring.

Requirements

• Minimum 1‑year current hospital PACU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Skills

• Stroke care experience.
• Critical care experience (and/or PACU experience).

Schedule
