Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,270 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Oregon City, Oregon. The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts. The ideal candidate will have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post‑operative patients recovering from surgical anesthesia.
• Handle a broad range of patients from pediatrics to adults.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient’s condition.
• Monitor critical patients for condition changes and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; may need to lift up to 50 pounds when moving patients.
• Cope with stress in a fast‑paced environment and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• 1‑2 years recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.
