Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,246 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN position in PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, 305 Langdon Street, Somerset, KY 42503. 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting (including at least 1 year in PACU)
• Current state nursing license
• Appropriate certifications as required for the specific PACU position
• Degree from an accredited nursing school
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Adherence to code of conduct and compliance policies

Pay

Minimum pay rate: $60.00 per hour
Maximum pay rate: $62.40 per hour
