Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,182 per week
About the Role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN for a PACU - Post Anesthesia Care position in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including craniotomies and ortho surgeries.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and manage pain and discomfort post-surgery.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PACU RN experience.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Completion of a specialty-specific assessment via HSH (ANCC-accredited online competency platform) at the time of submission.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Flexibility with hours and prior Meditech experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in managing post-anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Schedule
13-week assignment starting on 09/22/2026, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift.
