Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,160 per week

About the role

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility located in Sierra Vista, Arizona. The role involves providing post-operative care to geriatric, adult, and minimal pediatric patient populations in a Level 3 trauma environment, supporting patient recovery and maintaining high-quality care and safety standards throughout the post-anesthesia period. Start date: 10/12/2026; assignment duration: 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care to geriatric, adult, and minimal pediatric patients.
• Support patient recovery in a Level 3 trauma environment.
• Maintain high-quality care and safety standards during the post-anesthesia period.
• Work with an 8-bed unit, maintaining 1:1 patient ratios.
• Utilize Cerner electronic health records system for documentation.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Valid healthcare provider license according to state licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in post-anesthesia recovery.
• Strong team player with ability to work under pressure.

Skills

• Proficiency with Cerner EHR.
• Ability to manage 1:1 patient ratios in an 8-bed PACU.
• Effective communication and teamwork in high‑acuity settings.

Schedule
