Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,150 per week

Job Summary

The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse position is located in Bangor, Maine. This role involves providing patient care in the immediate postoperative period, following established policies and protocols. The nurse will work under the supervision of the Unit Director and provide direct leadership during shifts.

Schedule

• Day shifts
• 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) required; BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred
• Current Maine registered nurse license or compact license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification current or within 30 days of hire
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) current or within 90 days of hire
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) current or within 1 year of hire
• 1 year minimum experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit or similar setting
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented approach, and ability to multitask

Additional Information

• If traveler resides within 50 miles of the facility, a decrease of $10 per hour will apply
• Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid
• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts within a 13-week contract

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
