Requirements

• MUST BE 50 MILES AWAY FROM FACILITY
• As a level 1 trauma center, we reserve space for traumas.
• Service lines - Cardiac/PV, Neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gyn, uro, general, pediatrics, transplants. We do a small volume of ENT and plastic procedures.
• Scrub or Circulate both would be preferred.
• Other the call for weekends is from end of shift on Friday until 0630am Monday.
• Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran Iowa Methodist.
• circulating / operating room experience [required]
• experience in the following cases: General, davinci Robotics, Pediatrics and Trauma [required]
• additionalexperience in the following cases: (Neurology, orthopedics(primarily trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, Ear, nose, throat, Vascular) [highly preferred]
• Trauma level II experience [required]
• No 1st time travelers, must have completed a travel assignment within previous 15 mos.
• BLS OnCall: up to 1 overnight/week and 3 weekends per 13 week contract
