Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $3,155 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of the surgical team to provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care to patients.
• Assess patients’ needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Prepare operating rooms and equipment according to sterile technique.
• Handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
• Assist surgeons during procedures as a circulating nurse or scrub nurse.
• Provide patient education and support throughout the perioperative process.

Requirements

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in operating room procedures and protocols.
• Ability to manage time effectively under pressure.

Pay

• Based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
• Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
