Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $3,090 per week

Job Summary

Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Englewood, Colorado. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a busy surgical unit with a focus on neuro, cardiovascular, and general surgery procedures. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team supporting a 14-station OR with a diverse case mix, including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine surgeries.

Unit Information

• Location: Englewood, Colorado
• Address: 501 E Hampden Ave, Englewood, CO 80113
• Facility: 408-bed hospital with 14 ORs, including hybrid cardiovascular and cystoscopy suites, with a staff of 60 full-time equivalents
• Staffing includes OR RNs, CSTs, PCTs, anesthesia techs, and leadership staff
• Typical patient-to-staff ratio: 1:1
• Equipment includes standard OR tools and Stryker video systems
• EMR system: Meditech

Schedule

• Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Duration: 4 weeks
• On-call coverage from 5 PM to 7 PM one day per week and once every six weeks for weekend on-call if certain specialists are on-call. On-call and weekend coverage are essential responsibilities.
• No time off or special scheduling requests permitted
• Position creation is part of peak period staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Current hospital acute care experience with a minimum of 1-year
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications must be included in the submission packet

Preferred Qualifications

• Circulating and scrubbing experience in the OR
• Meditech EMR experience
