Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $3,007 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN position in the Operating Room at Mountainview RMC in Las Cruces, New Mexico. 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, evening shift (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday‑Friday).

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Robotics, Urology, Hand, and Podiatry cases.
• Participate in the OR call rotation (average of 7 calls per 6‑week period) to ensure 24/7 unit coverage.
• Utilize Medhost and PICIS electronic medical record systems.
• Adhere to hospital policies; no floating to other units required.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Operating Room experience.
• Current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification preferred.

Skills

• Experience with General, Ortho, OBGYN, Robotics, Urology, Hand, and Podiatry procedures.
• Proficiency with Medhost and PICIS EMR platforms.
• Ability to manage call responsibilities and work effectively in a team‑based OR environment.
