Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,935 per week
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Machias, Maine. This role involves providing safe, effective, and patient-family centered perioperative care with responsibilities including scrubbing, circulating, and working in the recovery room as needed. The nurse must communicate effectively within the perioperative team while maintaining confidentiality and supporting the organization's mission, vision, and values.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective perioperative patient care
- Perform scrubbing and circulating duties in the operating room
- Work in the recovery area as needed
- Maintain effective communication within the perioperative team
- Uphold confidentiality and support the organization’s mission, vision, and values
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1 year of relevant experience
- COVID-19 vaccination required
Qualifications
- Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) preferred
Schedule
- Days shift, 8 hours per shift
- 40 hours per week (minimum 36 hours guaranteed)
- 13-week assignment starting 08/10/2026

Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
