About the role
Coast Medical Service is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment starting on August 24, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of a surgeon
- Assist surgeons during surgeries
- Manage post-operative care
- Ensure sterile technique throughout procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois
- At least one year of operating room experience
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and patient care protocols
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Experience with anesthesia management
- Strong communication skills
Skills
- Proficient in operating room equipment
