Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,805 per week

About the role

Operating Room (OR) Nurse, located in an acute care facility with trauma level 1 status, is responsible for providing circulating services for a variety of surgical procedures, including neuro and orthopedic surgeries. The role necessitates versatility, strong procedural knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires teamwork and technical proficiency. Start date: 10/26/2026; duration: 13 weeks; 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Documenting procedures
• Sterile prepping
• Patient positioning
• Equipment setup
• Assisting in complex surgical cases primarily in neuro and ortho specialties
• Float rotation may be required to other units or campuses if needed

Requirements

• BLS Certification
• RN license (ND or Compact) required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR RN experience
• Scrub color provided (Ceil Blue)
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Must have or be willing to obtain license to submit
• Experience with general surgical cases, GYN, urology, and neuro/ortho procedures, including navigation systems
• Candidates must live within 80 miles of the facility
• If previously employed at Sanford Health, end date must be at least six months prior to submission

Qualifications

• Large hospital experience preferred
• At least two years of OR RN experience in acute settings
