Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,791 per week

ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room position in Watertown, New York.

About the role

This travel assignment offers an 8-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekend, holiday, and on-call duties required. The position guarantees 40 hours per week and is ideal for an RN with excellent leadership and communication skills, as you may occasionally take on charge nurse responsibilities. You will work in a dynamic OR/ASU setting, utilizing various clinical equipment to provide a safe and aseptic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in the Operating Room
• Assess patient needs and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed
• Occasionally take on charge nurse responsibilities
• Utilize clinical equipment to maintain a safe and aseptic environment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New York State RN license
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Experience with preceptorship and charge nurse duties (preferred)

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Experienced OR nurse
