About the role
The operating room nurse position is located in Manchester, New Hampshire. This role involves supporting a busy OR team with a focus on orthopedic, robotic, general surgery, urology, and neuro procedures. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, adhering to unit policies and ensuring safety standards are maintained.
Schedule
- Days shift, 10 hours per day
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Adhere to unit policies and maintain safety standards
- Support orthopedic, robotic, general surgery, urology, and neuro procedures
Requirements
- Valid RN license in good standing
- At least 1 year of clinical experience
- ACLS certification
- Experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, and urology
- Neuro experience preferred
- Availability for call coverage preferred
Additional Information
- 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Advanced equipment used: DaVinci Robot, Endovascular Suite, neurospine microscope, hysteroscopy pump
- EMR system: Altera
- Facility has 10 operating rooms and is licensed for 330 beds
- Approximately 50 staff members including day and night shift RNs, surgical technologists, and UAs
- Hardworking yet collaborative team culture
- Occasional late calls and overnight shifts during Fridays and Saturdays, as well as PRN holidays
