Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,690 per week
Job Summary
This position involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within the operating room for a Level I trauma center. The role requires collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care across various service lines, excluding cardiovascular procedures.

- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week, starting on 11/16/2026
Required Qualifications
- Illinois nursing license (active or in application process)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2.5 years of operating room experience
- Level I trauma experience
- General and Bariatric surgical case experience including laparoscopic-assisted procedures
- Neurology, orthopedic, plastic, transplant, urology, trauma, emergency management skills and equipment/instrumentation proficiency
- Ability to work with all service lines except cardiovascular
- Cerner charting system experience and CNOR certification (preferred)
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

- Must have experience with laparoscopic-assisted cases, abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, Whipple procedure, cervical fusion, craniotomy, lumbar fusion, arthroscopy, carpal tunnel release, fracture reduction, free flap procedures, organ donation, cystoscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, amputations, gunshot/stab wounds, motor vehicle injuries, code response, fire safety, latex allergy, malignant hyperthermia procedures, electrosurgical units, Hana tables, and other specified medical equipment and procedures.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
