Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Evenings — this assignment is for a surgical RN specializing in the operating room at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing high-quality perioperative patient care in a Level II Trauma center with a diverse caseload, including trauma, robotics, uro, ortho, neuro, and more, with a focus on collaboration within a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Details

Position Description: OR RN Evenings, starting at 3:00 PM, with a 40-hour weekly schedule. Candidates must have 3 years of experience, with consideration given to 2 years if the candidate demonstrates strong experience. First-time travelers with robust general OR and robotics background are encouraged to apply.

Schedule

• Shift: 8 hours, evenings
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift times: 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks

Certifications, Education, and Experience

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Maryland
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• 2+ years of OR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing perioperative patient care
• Scrubbing/circulating
• Responding to emergencies
• Working within a trauma and general OR setting with diverse surgical procedures

Additional Requirements

• Must be comfortable floating within the specialty and to sister campus as needed
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations
• Respond to on-call duties with 5-6 calls per four-week period

• Candidates must meet onboarding requirements within 72 hours of signing
• Submit all compliance documentation 5 days prior to the start date
