Job Summary
This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the operating suite, assessing, planning, and delivering quality patient care during surgical procedures. The role requires collaboration with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout perioperative care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice
- Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their supervision
- Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary for perioperative patient care
- Provide care based on best evidence and participate in unit or facility shared leadership
- Interact with all levels of staff, physicians, and patients, emphasizing communication and collaboration for patient safety and care excellence
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- Operating Room specialty
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours, 40 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Professional certification preferred
