Responsibilities

• Providing specialized perioperative care
• Assisting with surgical procedures across various specialties
• Supporting interdisciplinary teamwork to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Working with a dynamic surgical team in a fast-paced environment
• Covering surgical procedures including general, gynecological, breast, ENT, and urology surgeries
• Assisting with specialized equipment such as wound vacs, drains, and various pumps
• Working in a multidisciplinary environment supporting both inpatient and outpatient cases with a mix of pediatric and adult patients
• Being responsive to unit needs and flexible in scheduling, including working some holidays
• Floating to other units within skill set may be required

Requirements

• Valid compact state license
• At least 1 year of OR experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification

Qualifications

• Previous charge nurse experience
• Additional certifications such as NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Additional certifications such as CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
