Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a fast-paced environment. The position starts on 09/28/2026 and ends on 12/28/2026, with a schedule of 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, primarily during daytime hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a fast-paced short-term acute care facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid State License
- At least 1 year of recent OR experience
- Experience with patient ratios
- Familiarity with electronic charting systems
- Valid compact license in hand at submission
- Reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a community hospital setting
- Experience with trauma level II units
Schedule & Additional Requirements
- 10-hour shifts, Days, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start date: 09/28/2026, End date: 12/28/2026
- Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities
- Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All specific scheduling and RTO requests must be submitted during application; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
- Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
