Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,250 per week

About the role

Ottumwa Regional Health Center is a regional health center providing a wide range of health services, including emergency medicine, critical care services, medical/surgical, acute rehabilitation, obstetrics, and pediatrics, as well as specialty services such as cardiac catheterization, diagnostic and therapeutic radiological services, wound care, pain clinic, sleep lab, pathology, and so much more.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
• Assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Monitor patients' vital signs and prepare them for surgery
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during and after surgery
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Compacted RN license if applicable

Qualifications

Required qualifications include a current Registered Nurse license, ACLS certification, BLS certification, and a valid Social Security Number and date of birth.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in operating room procedures are essential.
