About the role
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a hospital contract in Overland Park, Kansas. The position is available immediately and will last for 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week and a 10-hour shift.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the operating room for a variety of surgical procedures including abdominal, cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurosurgery, and trauma surgeries.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Document all procedures and patient information accurately in the medical records system.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly during surgical cases.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
Requirements
The right candidate will have a current RN license in good standing. Additional requirements may vary and will be discussed with the recruiter.
