About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Margate, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Staff rooms with 1 tech and 1 RN or 2 RNs based on patient ratios
- Perform joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery procedures
- Assist with robotic surgeries
- Work 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, days
- Be available for on-call shifts including weekends
- Scrub and circulate in various surgical specialties
- Document using Meditech
- Collaborate with clinical coordinators for all specialty service lines
Requirements
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Two years of current experience in an acute OR setting, including orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement experience
- Experience with knee and hip replacements
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Ability to scrub and circulate in various surgical specialties
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Meditech documentation system
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
