About the role
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Nashville, TN This position involves providing specialized perioperative care within a busy OR setting. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes during a variety of surgical procedures, including robotic, neurosurgery, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries. The role involves supporting a 20-bed OR unit with a patient ratio of 1:1, primarily assisting with surgeries such as neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, colorectal, robotic general surgery, bariatric, ENT, urology, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist with complex surgical cases
- Handle robotic equipment
- Adhere to hospital policies and surgical standards
Requirements
- Certification as a Surgical technologist (STFA) or Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)
- Current CPR certification
- Active RN license in Tennessee or a compact state
- Multi-year OR experience in the current role
Qualifications
- Experience with endovascular procedures
- Experience with DaVinci robotics
- Experience with Meditech charting

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
