Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,120 per week
About the role
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility located in Golden, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, provide health teaching and counseling, and execute therapy and treatment plans to support patient well-being. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to float within scopes of competency and be on-call during scheduled shifts.
Schedule
- Dayshift, 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, Monday through Friday
- No set day off
- Includes a 12-hour call shift every third week
- 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Perform health assessments, health teaching, and counseling
- Monitor treatment plans and execute medical functions
- Complete clinical documentation and patient referrals
- Work within the scope of the role and float to other departments as needed
Requirements
- ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree from an accredited school of nursing or higher
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum of 0 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Additional certifications relevant to the operating room environment
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in an operating room setting
