Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $1,960 per week

About the role

Operating Room (OR) Nurse needed for a seasonal travel assignment in a busy surgical unit. This role involves working a rotating schedule including day shifts and on-call duties, with a focus on providing excellent patient care in a high-acuity environment. The position requires adaptability and strong communication skills to ensure smooth surgical procedures and team collaboration.

Schedule

• Days, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Dates: 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care in a high-acuity OR environment
• Assist with surgical procedures across multiple specialties (neuro, cardiovascular, general surgery)
• Participate in on-call duties scheduled evenings and weekends
• Collaborate with a team of 14 permanent staff nurses and specialized surgical teams
• Float rotation may be required

Requirements

• Valid RN licensure
• Minimum of 1-year current hospital acute care experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Located within the area or able to commute
• Open to travel assignments

Preferred Qualifications

• Circulate and scrubbing experience
• Meditech electronic medical record experience

• Procedures performed include angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and spinal/orthopedic surgeries
