About the role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Glendale, Arizona. You will work in a surgical robotics and cardiovascular care environment, supporting advanced procedures in a patient-focused setting. The facility has 12 OR suites and handles 35-40 cases per day, including pediatric and adult patients. Shifts are 12 hours during the day.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room setting.
• Support robotic-assisted and cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Arizona RN license.
• At least one year of recent operating room experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.

Skills

• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgery is helpful.
