Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $1,890 per week

Job Summary

The position involves providing specialized nursing care in a busy surgical environment, supporting various surgical procedures, and collaborating closely with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year current hospital acute care experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).

Preferred Qualifications

• Circulate and scrubbing experience.
• Meditech EMR experience.
• Familiarity with procedures such as angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and ortho/spine surgeries.

Additional Information

• The unit has a high volume of procedures with a team experienced in various surgeries and uses standard OR equipment and Stryker video systems.
• On-call duties occur weekly from 5P-7P, with weekend on-call every six weeks when the orthopedic doctor is on-call.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
