About the Role

• Travel RN position as a NEURO OR Circulator (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM)
• Must have strong Neuro experience and a 4 rating
• Day shift with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call requirement: Saturday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM (48 hours) with a 30-minute response time
• Call schedule: At least two 1st calls (24 hours) and every third weekend
• Must be able to float to general operating rooms if neuro cases are not available
• Flexibility in shift start times (6:30 AM or 8 AM) and flip room patterns

Responsibilities

• Circulate in neuro surgeries, including cranial, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar procedures
• Operate and manage specialized equipment: Jackson bed, Mazor robot, Stealth Navigation, Stryker Navigation, Levo head positioner, HALO positioner
• Document patient care using Meditech Magic EHR
• Serve as a patient advocate for three elite surgeons
• Adhere to 1:1 patient ratio in neuro operating rooms

Requirements

• ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) required
• At least one year of experience in neuro circulating
• Basic circulating knowledge with a specialty in Neuro
• Experience with Meditech documentation, Jackson bed, Mazor, and Stealth Navigation
• Certifications must be completed prior to start date

Qualifications

• Must Have Skills/Experience:
  • Neuro circulating for cranial, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar procedures
  • Accountable, dependable, and self-sufficient
• Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Experience with pain pumps and spinal cord stimulators (SCS)

• 3 dedicated neuro operating rooms
• Patient population: 16 years to end-of-life care
• Scrub color: Seal blue (provided by facility)
