About the role
We are seeking a travel nurse RN OR Circulate for a facility in Independence, Missouri. The unit has 10 beds and a staff of 50, including:
- Day Shift: 10 RN, 10-14 Scrub Tech
- Night Shift: 1 RN, 1 Scrub Tech
Patient ratio is 1:1. The unit handles approximately 500 cases per month using equipment for Robot, Ortho, Neuro, GU, Heart, Endo vascular, and Laparoscopic procedures. EMR system in use is Meditech.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- 2 or more years of circulating experience with emphasis on orthopedics, neuro, and trauma
- Ability to independently circulate ortho, neuro, davinci, and trauma cases
- Ability to run two rooms on weekends
- Must be staffed in-house for trauma designation
Dress code: Blue scrubs
