Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,988 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. This position offers 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, focusing on the acute phase.
• Assist patients ranging from post-surgical to near-terminal in managing their disease and treatment, including administering chemotherapy.
• Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures, and particularities of the disease.
• Create a supportive environment for patients and families.
• Monitor patient progress and implement new methods of symptom treatment.
• May specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
