Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $1,985 per week

About the role

The role involves providing care to patients diagnosed with various types of cancer under the supervision of oncology nurses and doctors.

Responsibilities

  • Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients for side effects and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncologists, radiologists, and social workers.
  • Document patient care activities and treatment plans accurately.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Georgia.
  • Current BLS certification from an American Heart Association-approved course.
  • Experience in oncology nursing preferred but not required.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Skills

  • Knowledge of oncology nursing practices and protocols.
  • Proficiency in computer systems used for patient documentation.
