About the role
Travel nurse RN Oncology position in Tallahassee, Florida. Specialty: Oncology; Discipline: RN; Duration: 13 weeks; 48 hours per week; Shift: 12‑hour days and nights. Employment type: Travel. Equipment includes electronic white boards, iPhones with iMobile, and remote telemetry. Documentation system: Meditech. Unit procedures: inpatient chemotherapy administered by core nursing staff with ONS chemotherapy training.
Responsibilities
- Participate in inpatient chemotherapy delivery under ONS‑trained core nursing staff.
- Utilize electronic white boards and iPhones with iMobile for point‑of‑care documentation.
- Operate remote telemetry equipment to monitor patient status.
- Maintain accurate patient records in the Meditech system.
Requirements
- Preferred specialty certification: Med Surg, Palliative Care, or ONS.
Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- Experience in oncology nursing.
Skills
- Proficiency with electronic white boards and iPhone iMobile applications.
- Competent in remote telemetry monitoring.
- Skilled in Meditech documentation.
