Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,920 per week

About the role

An Oncology Nurse provides and supervises nursing care for cancer patients. The role includes monitoring patient condition, administering medications, and educating cancer patients about treatment options and the particularities of the disease.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and report changes in patient health status
• Educate patients and families about their diagnosis and treatment plan
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of MA
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in oncology nursing preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills

• Knowledge of oncology nursing practices and protocols
• Proficiency in computer systems and electronic health record (EHR) software
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Pay
