The RN will perform general assessments, IV starts, portacath access, and medication administration to a diverse patient population with complex needs. Job Details Position Type: Registered Nurse (RN) Department: Medical Surgical Oncology Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Start Date: 10/26/2026 End Date: 01/25/2027 Required Qualifications: BLS certification; Minimum of 2 years of RN experience; Experience in medical surgical oncology; Ability to perform general assessments, IV starts, portacath access, and medication administration; Competence with chest tubes, central lines, and heparin drips; Valid licensure to practice as a registered nurse (OT and state licensing requirements) Preferred Qualifications: ONS certification, CHPN certification, OCN certification Schedule: No self-scheduling or block scheduling; weekend and holiday shifts required Additional Information: Local candidates are not accepted; a 50-mile radius restriction applies. Call or standby duty for low census; float rotations may include Heart Center, General Medicine, Post-Surgical, or Ortho-Neuro units; CNAs are available at a 1:8 ratio; equipment includes CPAP and High Flow; orientation consists of two 12-hour shifts.
