Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,800 per week

About the role
- Work Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekend or holiday requirements
- No on-call or standby requirements
- No floating requirements
- Ambulatory/outpatient radiation oncology setting
- Work alongside a Medical Assistant and RN in the clinic
- Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,800 plus a $500 contract-completion bonus
Responsibilities
- Treat patients with diagnoses including prostate cancer, head and neck cancers, breast cancer, metastatic disease, lung cancer, brain cancer, skin cancer, lymphoma, and mesothelioma
- Perform peripheral IV insertion, Power Port access and de-access, and contrast infusion during CT
- Triage for contrast reactions and assess for radiation side effects
- Provide patient education related to radiation side effects
- Administer IV hydration at set rates
- Chart using Cerner and Aria EMR systems
- Wear any color scrubs with solid color pants
Requirements
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Radiation Oncology Nurse Certification preferred but not required
- BSN not required
