Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,028 per week
About the Role
This position is for a travel Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) at a 160-bed community hospital located in Leawood, Kansas—a suburb just south of Kansas City. The facility is known for its passionate team of physicians and nurses in the Oncology unit. Local attractions include the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, Museum at Prairiefire, Indian Creek Greenway, and numerous museums and theaters.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Oncology unit.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Deliver patient-centered care in cancer treatment and management.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact accepted).
- Minimum of 2 years of Oncology nursing experience.
- Certification in Chemotherapy (CERT-CHEMO) – copy required.
- SSN and date of birth (DOB) required for onboarding.
- No more than a 90-day gap in work history within the last year.
- Must pass ECG testing during onboarding.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech electronic health record system.
Pay
Pay rate: $1,977.00 - $2,078.00 per week (based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
- Duration: 8 weeks.
- Shift: 8 hours, days.
