About the role
Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a 13-week assignment starting on August 24, 2026, in Kalispell, Montana.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients on the Surgical Floor (2nd Floor) with 31 beds.
- Treatment of medical patients such as CHF, sepsis, COPD, CVA, DVT, PE, cellulitis, AKI, ETOH, psych, IVDA, hospice.
- Treatment of post-surgical patients including orthopedic, neuro, urology, gynecology, ENT, gastrointestinal, and surgical oncology surgeries.
- Delivery of chemotherapy treatments under the supervision of licensed professionals.
- Adhere to patient ratios of 1:5-6 during day shifts and 1:3-4 if delivering chemotherapy.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of nursing experience with a strong focus on medical and oncological care.
- Experience with chemotherapy administration is required.
- Must have BLS, NIHSS, and ONS Chemo Provider Card certifications.
- OCN certification is not required but preferred.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
