Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,197 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. This is a 13-week assignment starting on 09/07/2026, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, focusing on the acute phase.
• Assist patients ranging from post-surgical to near-terminal in managing their disease and treatment effectively.
• Administer chemotherapy and implement new methods of symptom treatment.
• Monitor patients' progress and create a supportive environment.
• Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures, and particularities of the disease.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Qualifications

The Oncology RN will care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients, administer chemotherapy, and monitor their progress. They may specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.
