Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $1,864 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN Oncology position at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Start date 10/26/2026, 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts (7 P.M.–7:30 A.M.), rotating weekends, no call, guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy
• Perform CHG baths, including central line and dressing care
• Access central lines, mediports, and draw labs
• Transfuse blood products
• Document patient care using Meditech
• Float to other units as needed per Methodist Hospital floating policy

Requirements

• Active RN license (implied)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 5+ years of nursing experience
• Med‑Surg/Tele RN experience
• Oncology experience
• Experience with Mediports, PICCs, and central lines

Qualifications

• Chemotherapy certification (preferred)
• Meditech experience (preferred)

Skills

• Proficiency in chemotherapy administration
• Ability to perform CHG baths and central line dressing care
• Competent in central line, mediport access and lab draws
• Skilled in blood product transfusions
