Responsibilities

• Unit bed count: 21 beds (current census around 8‑12).
• Staffing: Day shift – 1 charge nurse, 3/4 RN, 1 PCT; Night shift – 1 charge nurse, 3/4 RN, 1 PCT.
• Estimated patient ratio: 1:3/4, flexing to 1:5.
• Equipment: Baxter pumps.
• EMR system: Meditech.
• Typical procedures: replacing blood and electrolytes.
• Floating areas: Hemeonc and bone marrow transplant units.

Requirements

• Oncology background (required)
• Active RN license
• BLS certification

Qualifications

• Hematology/oncology (Hemonc) background (preferred)
• Chemotherapy certification (preferred)
