Travel Nurse RN - OB/GYN - $2,668 per week

About the role

The OB Inpatient RN at Carle Health - Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to obstetric patients and newborns, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and throughout the shift
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized plans of care based on patient and family needs
• Provide infant care in accordance with unit standards and competencies
• Administer medications per physician orders following established protocols
• Document all nursing care accurately in the EMR
• Maintain patient and employee safety by identifying and correcting safety hazards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality patient care
• Offer constructive feedback to support peer professional development

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience
• Active Illinois RN License in good standing
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program (American Heart Association)
• English (Read, Write, Speak)

Qualifications

Preferred: BSN

Strong OB clinical competency, infant care expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,246.00
Local Pay Rate: $68.00/hour

Schedule

Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
3x12-hour shifts
36 hours/week
Minimum 2 Fridays and 2 Mondays required per 6-week schedule period
