About the role
Travel NICU RN jobs at The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial in Nashville, Tennessee place you in a 155-bed hospital with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) offering specialized care for newborns. This 6-week Rapid Response contract requires 48 hours per week with no time off requests. Traveler must start within 7 days of receiving offer.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for newborns in a Level III NICU
- Perform neonatal assessments
- Deliver high-risk infant care
- Utilize Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Requirements
- Current Tennessee RN license
- 2 years of recent NICU experience
- 1 travel assignment in general within the last 2 years (AMN Travel RN, Compact Accepted)
- Certifications: NRP-AHA AAP - NRP Advanced (copy needed), CERT-STABLE (copy needed), BLS (copy needed)
- SSN and date of birth required
- Work history with no more than 90 days gap in the last year
- AMN travel experience within the last 12 months required
