Requirements:Active California RN LicenseBLSNRPNICU experience3 years of PEDS/PICU experience preferred, as the RN may be required to floatExperience with neonatal assessments, central lines/UACs, bedside monitoring, and mechanical ventilatorsResponsibilities:Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICUPerform head-to-toe neonatal assessments and monitor changes in patient conditionAdminister medications and calculate age-appropriate dosagesManage central lines and UACs and obtain blood samples as neededMonitor patients using bedside monitoring equipment and mechanical ventilatorsCalculate and monitor fluid and nutritional intakeCommunicate changes in patient condition to physicians and the healthcare teamEducate and communicate appropriately with parents and familiesParticipate in multidisciplinary care planning and maintain accurate documentationInterested?
