Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $2,492 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU – Neonatal Intensive Care for a 13-week assignment in Newburyport, Massachusetts. The position starts September 29, 2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and specialized care for newborns needing close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions requiring surgery or therapy.
• Work in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in developing and implementing a plan of care for high-risk newborns requiring high-technology care, including ventilators, incubators, or other special equipment or surgery.
• Demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments and utilize critical thinking in an effective and efficient manner with supervision.
• Perform according to nursing standards and be accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Requirements

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting.
• Active RN license.
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Other requirements as determined by the client facility.
