About the role

Travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care position at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. Unit details: 84 beds, 160 staff including Charge CNC Nurse, RN, Unit Secretaries, RRT. Day shift staffing: Charge CNC Nurse, RN, Unit Secretaries, RRT. Night shift staffing: Charge CNC Nurse, RN, Unit Secretaries, RRT. Patient ratios: 2:1 NICU, 3:1 NSCU. Equipment: Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, Drager, ECG (Philips, GE). EMR: Neonatal Notes Manager / Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Perform IV therapy
• Administer Whole Body Cooling
• Assist with Surgical Cases (NEC, PDA, CVC)
• Perform PDA Ligations
• Manage High Frequency Ventilation
• Insert and manage Chest Tubes

Requirements

• Minimum 1‑year current acute care NICU hospital experience
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Active Kansas RN licensure

Qualifications

• Level IV NICU experience (preferred)
• Prior Meditech experience (preferred)
• Experience traveling to large teaching facilities (preferred)

Schedule
