Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $2,480 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) position in Greenville, South Carolina. This is a 13‑week travel assignment requiring 48 hours per week (12‑hour night shifts). The role is for an immediate opening and requires 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience. As a NICU RN you will provide critical care to sick and premature infants, support parents, and work as part of a care team delivering round‑the‑clock care.

Responsibilities

• Care for infants transitioning to extra uterine life.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, such as incubators and ventilators.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time; bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift 10‑20 pounds of equipment as needed.
• Be prepared for hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
