Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $2,328 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Salem, Virginia. The position is at LewisGale Medical Center, located at 1900 Electric Road, Salem, Virginia 24153, in the NICU (Main Building, 2nd Floor). Start date: 11/16/2026 (flexible), duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, shift: 12 hours nights, employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 6‑bed NICU (5 open bays, 1 isolation room)
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2‑3
• Collaborate with RN and RT staff; unit secretaries and techs available as described
• Operate GE 650 monitors, Medela breast pumps, syringe pumps, IV pumps, and bili‑lights
• Document using Meditech and Centricity Perinatal systems
• Follow scheduling requirements: 3 twelve‑hour shifts per week
• Adhere to floating policy: Birth Response/Stork Nurse
• Meet patient experience requirements: AIDET, courtesy and respect

Requirements

• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• RN license with NICU specialty

Qualifications

RN license, NICU – Neonatal Intensive Care specialty.
