Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $2,038 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for a neonatal intensive care unit in Salem, Virginia.

About the role

This is a 12-week travel contract at a hospital, starting as soon as possible. The position requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a neonatal intensive care setting.
• Perform IV insertions and assessments in preterm and term infants.
• Care for and stabilize critically ill infants needing vent support, CPAP, UVC placement, surfactant administration, needle decompression, TPN, and lipids.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and Centricity Perinatal systems.
• Adhere to unit-specific policies including weekend shifts and protocols for patient care.

Requirements

• Active RN licensure
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
