About the role

The ICU Neurological specialty position is located in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized neurological intensive care within a dynamic healthcare environment. The selected candidate will deliver expert patient care in a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, focusing on patients recovering from complex neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized neurological intensive care to patients recovering from complex neurological conditions.
• Adhere to specialized neurocritical care protocols.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Rotate through day and night shifts every four weeks, with potential rotation as needed.

Requirements

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems such as Epic.
• Travel experience.
• Minimum of 6 months separated from the healthcare organization to be considered.
• Level 1 critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of Neuro ICU experience (preferred).
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary neurological intensive care team (preferred).
